"Dr. Slenn as a wonderful Vet, when he retired, I took my dog to Dr. Barnes and I will never be back to Ghent Hill. She misdiagnosed my dogs condition. I had to take my dog to MedVet when she was urinating blood. I was told her bladder stones were so large they could be felt during a physical examination and the xray proved them to be very large (size of a spherical quarter in a 10lb dog). These types of stones take a very long time to build up to this size and they should have been felt by Dr. Barnes during her physical exam a few weeks earlier. What was most upsetting was that the staff would not fit the surgery into the schedule causing me to pay 5x the normal cost for the surgery . I would not have had to get the emergency surgery if my dog was diagnosed properly. They cut corners and had no intention in righting their wrong. DO NOT take your pet here if you want an accurate assessment of your pets condition."

Even when we had to say goodbye to Biscuit, Dr. Barnes was extremely thoughtful and caring and it went as smoothly as it possibly could. It gave my family and I such relief and reassurance. They really care about your pets and will do whatever they can for them!"
