"I used to like bringing my dog here, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. As well as, I am in school for alternative medicine. I brought my dog in for a check up and a allergy shot. During the check up I asked how do we fix the gut due to her yeast overgrowth? The doctor stated keep using the shampoo every 2 to 3 days and lets see how that goes. I thought repeat washing and moisture creates yeast growth and antibacterial shampoos further can disrupt the microbiome. I asked what about a probiotic? I would like to know the root cause of why this is happening? Do we need to cleanse the liver? the Doctor came back in the room to give the allergy shot. The Doctor dispensed the shot with the dog on my lap and it went all over my pants and on the floor. It was like it went right through the other side of her skin. The Doctor left the room and came back with another needle, I was hesitant because I don't know how much of that went into my dog. the Doctor stated she is only giving her half the dose. I asked, please do the injection on the table. The Doctor hardly lifted up the skin for the injection. My dog reared up like a horse screaming. The shot was injected in her upper back. There were three witnesses in the room including myself. When I asked the Doctor, why did that happen she shrugged her shoulders. An allergy shot does not do that. Unacceptable! No response you give me will justify what you did to my dog."

"Dr. Nathan is amazing and has vast experience with rabbits and other small mammals. It's well worth the drive from Cleveland. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the care is top notch."

"It's not possible to say enough nice things about this place. I have a large reactive dog who gets easily spooked. We came in for a couple of introductory visits. He snapped at every one there but they told him no, stood their ground and he stopped. When the exams start we muzzle him and they distract him with peanut buttery treats. They take a holistic approach considering diet, scents, and exercise as well as meds (not "holistic" in an anti-scientific sense) and have a state of the art facility for large and small, domestic and exotic pets. They aren't the cheapest vets in the area so if you've got an animal that might need a lot in the future get pet insurance now, but they're amazing"

"My dog is so comfortable at Sharon Veterinary Hospital. He's been there for everything from shots to an allergy concern. Dr I is amazing and took time to explain things, discuss treatment options, and answer all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed like our previous vet."
