Our comprehensive approach combines medications with therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help individuals overcome addiction to prescription painkillers and illegal narcotics like heroin.
In addition to 12-step groups, case management services, and mindfulness programs, our patients receive individual, family, and group counseling. We also offer education classes on substance use disorders, psychoeducational programming, and mediation groups. Our programming addresses a range of issues including family dynamics, anger management, grief and loss, and life skills to support our patients on their journey to recovery.

"I have spent the better part of the last 20 years in methadone clinics and this is my 4th clinic. I transferred here after 10 years at another clinic. I am very pleased with my decision to transfer. The staff is very polite and willing to go above and beyond to help you. All clinics differ slightly as far as how they're run but if you do the few simple things that you are required to do this is a great place to build a foundation in recovery. They offer many different groups in which you can attend via Zoom. The counselor sessions are mostly over the phone which is extremely convenient. Progress is recognized by the staff and commended! They also offer take homes to patients with medical marijuana cards. If you are looking to find a clinic or transfer from another clinic I would recommend Milford Treatment Services without hesitation."
