I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Carter because I had seen him previously at Kettering and wanted to switch to this office because it is close to my job.The person answering the phone started arguing with me as why I need to go to Kettering Sleep clinic instead. Wow I guess they don't need patients there. Extremely rude staff!"

"I recently had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Kevin Carter, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Carter proved to be not only highly available but also incredibly knowledgeable and efficient in his approach. From the moment I scheduled my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating Dr. Carter's office staff was. They worked diligently to find a convenient time slot for me, ensuring that I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. This level of accessibility and flexibility was truly commendable. During my consultation with Dr. Carter, I was immediately impressed by his extensive knowledge and expertise. He listened attentively to my concerns, asking thoughtful questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of my medical history. His ability to connect the dots and provide insights into my condition was truly remarkable."

"Dr. Carter spent less than 15 minutes with me and after determining I didn’t need a CPAP, which I already knew, he handed me a sticky note for a “free app” to reference. He said I seemed like a person who could figure it out. The app is no longer functioning and is only available as a paid website. He was quick for me to exit and did not feel comfortable with my sleep issues. $90 out of pocket and $300 charged to my insurance for nothing. The office staff is also rude at every level from appointment scheduling to check in to questions about my bill. So disappointing and frustrating. The office response below is definitely not the sense I got during my visit. I asked for additional resources besides the app suggested and Dr. Carter said he didn’t think it was necessary. If the office is so concerned and suggests alternative therapies, then give all the options and please make sure they work and are available as suggested. The app Dr. Carter’s suggested, Go!toSleep, is no longer a working app. It is now a website that has a fee, as stated before. It took me quite a while to find this on my own time, a less technical patient would not have found this alone. $90 for less than 15 minutes for him to give me something that doesn’t work and not provide additional resources as requested is frustrating, sad and poor patient care. I called the office to let them know my concerns but no one ever called me back. I’ve never left a bad review for anyone but short of going to the better business bureau this may let others know my experience so it may help them."

"I had previously written a negative review as a result of issues I had with specific staff. Part of it was from my own misunderstanding, but I also think the staff aren't used to dealing with rarer sleep disorders that aren't sleep apnea, which I can't fault given the low prevalence of my particular disorder. However, Dr. Carter himself has been very helpful and knowledgeable in my care and I eventually was diagnosed and prescribed a life changing medication that actually allows me to live more than half a life. I am very appreciative of the support I've gotten in that regard."
