"FAILURE to treat: This is the second time in the past months that Xenia Family Practice (Dr. Hannah) has refused to treat and has referred me to Urgent Care, which, in addition to the inconvenience, exposes a patient to the possibility of catching something much more serious. This long-time patient of Dr. Hannah was refused treatment for a winter cold (sinusitis/sore throat), which, after 6 hours at Urgent Care, was diagnosed as such (for the second time). My opinion on the reason for Dr. Hannah’s refusing to see patients? More legal than health-related. When a physicians office follows some attorney-based mandate instead of the simple “treat the sick”, that is a problem."

"Called the office to get my daughter in for pink eye and they wouldn’t see her. They claim that they are not taking anyone into their office with any illnesses and told us to go to Urgent Care. I am livid with their decision. Urgent Care is more expensive. The waiting room here (Urgent Care) is packed. The staff here at Urgent Care asked why you guys are even doctors."

"Dr. Hanna at the Xenia Kettering Doctors on Progress Dr. Dr. Hanna is not a very caring Individual about how her patients behave when they come in to see her. I had seen Dr. Gibson for a few years and never had a issue. Dr. Gibson Moved to the VA Center. Dr. Hanna removed our meeting. I had seen the Nurse and no problems but Doctor Hanna would not see me because I wore a Clear face shield and she insist that Kettering had distributed a rule that stated that you must ware a mask. The main issue for me was that I was involved in a serious construction accident and was in the hospital for 9 days. My face is still very sensitive and the mask makes it have more problems for me. She kicked me out anyway. I called Kettering Hospital and ask about this. I was informed that either a mask of clear face protector was fine. Gene Randall"

"Laurie Bankston has been my doctor for the last 3 years now. Before I started going to her, I have to admit, I was very uncomfortable around doctors and always avoided them. Over the years, I realized that my fears were entirely misplaced. She's been a huge proponent in making me feel comfortable during my visits and I love that I no longer have the fear that I had before. For the first time today, I had an issue with a prescription that was not able to be written because she was out of the office. As much as I was disappointed, Her clinical staff and the receptionists at the front desk were very professional and apologetic on the issue. Not only that, but they went above and beyond to contact my doctor to see what she could do to help. It was 'all hands on deck' for me! Even though I'm not sure it I will be able to get my prescription in time for an upcoming business trip, I feel confident knowing that the team that looks after my health genuinely care about their patients and that they go above and beyond to care for them."

"DO NOT ask Dr. Melissa Hanna any questions nor fill out her paper work asking about your health. If you do and she has any questions about your answers they will code your visit as a "problem/follow up". And they will NOT let you speak with Dr. Hanna about it nor will they change it. My wife and I went for yearly checkup, and they coded my wife's visit as a "problem/follow-up" because her and Dr. Hanna went over her answers on the paper work that Dr. Hanna had questions about. When we got the bill I called and asked to speak with Dr. Hanna but kept being directed to her nurse who would not allow to speak with the doctor. And claimed she spoke with the Doctor and that coding was correct. The nurse also stated "I don't understand why she can't just come in for another appointment if she needs a yearly checkup?"."
