"Like many other reviewers are stating, Dr. Flexman saw me for 10-15 minutes and rapid fired questions at me, hurrying me along as to get me out of the way. Then I had two days of maybe 4 hours of testing combined which included drawing pictures, answering a couple situational questions (not with a doctor), and multiple choice. The results in my opinion were inaccurate because they give very surface level testing. If you are a highly masked adult or if you have any sensory issues you will not receive any help here. In fact, I believe this place to be detrimental because they are diagnosing people incorrectly based on very very limited information. They need to re-evaluate how they are giving their testing."

"Took them 6 weeks to tell me i have an unspecified disorder. Completely ignored my previous diagnosis. Used very out of date tests like the family tree person test. Report told me to get an exam for different meds but didn’t give me any referral or suggestions. I am confused why they didn’t give me any suggestions for meds. The report essential told me to go get help from other professionals. Also got charged other fees I was unaware of and was charged for overdue payments when i didn’t pay them. Do not waste your time. Very frustrating experience."

"I have been receiving treatment at The Flexman Myers Clinic for a few years now. My psychologist is understanding and helpful. I know that I can call in an emergency and the clinic employees have always tried to accommodate any of my scheduling needs. Having dealt with my illness for 30 years now I have worked with numerous psychiatrists and psychologists and what I have learned is this: You need a counselor who will listen and know how to guide you while allowing you to work through things yourself. You do not need a friend who is getting paid to nod their head in agreement and validate whatever you say. You need someone who can help you identify causes and effects and help you learn how to manage and reduce suffering in your life. You get out of it what you put into it. If you listen and think and change patterns and behaviors you're going to get results. If you want to have someone to complain to for 50 minutes or a parrot your self diagnosis back to you or a fairy godmother to wave a wand or give you a daily mantra for a perfect life you will stay stuck and disappointed. Personalities can clash. Some people are better at their jobs and some worse- this is true in every profession. You can try a different counselor, doctor, etc... but if you don't put in the necessary emotional work yourself no one will be able to truly help you. Psychologists teach you how to use certain tools to help you better navigate life. They are not magicians and cannot give you a pill to cure you. In my experience, people who resist therapy the most tend to be the ones who could benefit the most. They also tend to have very strong and negative reactions to anyone disagreeing with them or suggesting they need to change. Blaming, anger and denial can never help anyone heal and progress in their lives. Your life won't change unless you change."

"Took 6 weeks just to tell me something I already knew about my child. She sat with us for 1 hour and didn't engage with my kid but once or twice. The reviews I read prior to going here was a warning and I completely waisted my time."

"The Flexman Myers clinic was very helpful with me. I’ve had some mental health issues here and there my whole life and know what to expect when going to a clinic/dr for diagnosis. One thing for certain is , if you go somewhere and you’re diagnosed with them barely knowing anything about you then you’re at the wrong place. I believe my doctors name was , Kate? But she was very helpful and listened to me. I go back in November for some more testing so they can ACCURATELY diagnose me, unlike a few other places I’ve been to. This isn’t a super quick process if you want the right diagnosis. Thank you Flexman Myers, for getting me started on finding out my diagnosis and working with me!!"
