R&J Ballroom, located at 401 Tuscarawas Street West in Canton, Ohio, is a school dedicated to providing a fun and efficient learning environment for students of all levels. With a focus on experiences, studies, and training, students at R&J are constantly growing and improving as dancers and individuals.
At R&J, you are part of a team with over 80 years of collective experience in teaching dance. Our staff is dedicated to supporting you on your dance journey, whether you are a beginner or a professional.
If you are new to R&J, send us a message to set up a free introductory lesson. We offer group courses and private lessons at our location on 4125 Hills and Dales Road NW in Canton.

"Highly recommend R&J Ballroom. My husband and I have been taking both private and group lessons for over 9 months. Every instructor is a wonderful teacher and they all make dancing fun! Don't feel that you need to have a partner to take classes with - there is always someone to dance with so you don't need to sign up with a partner. They also offer many social activities - movie nights, pot lucks, night out on the town, etc. where you can put your dancing to use. The owners, Rachel and Jonathan, genuinely care about helping everyone learn to dance and have created a welcoming and fun environment to learn to dance. I cannot say enough positive things about them - you need to meet them and experience it for yourself!"
"Rachel and Jonathan are the most terrific dancers and teachers. My husband and I were first time dancers that were looking for instructors to help us with our first dance at our wedding. Jonathan rose to the challenge and choreographed the most beautful rumba for us. At R&J they have crafted an atmospehere at their studio that instills confidence in their students while still finding ways to create laughter, comradery, and friendship. "I enrolled my hubs and I in the Two Left Feet Intro class to re-live our “First Wedding Dance from 10 Years Ago” Glory Days and was not disappointed. Every one of the instructors is knowledgeable, passionate and super enjoyable to work with. The laid-back atmosphere was totally inviting and we looked forward to going each week! I think my husband and I laughed more during each session than we have in years; we had such a great time!
