"Dr. Steiner's attention to detail, easy-going demeanor, and willingness to listen to his patients makes him a wonderful psychiatrist. I've seen several over the span of my adult life and he, by far, is the best I've seen. He ensured I got the proper diagnosis, worked hard to ensure my meds were balanced, went over side effects with me, and if things didn't work for me, he was eager to help me find a better medication to fit my needs. The icing on the cake was, right after I had my first daughter and was in the hospital, he came to visit me to ensure I was doing well and to start my medications to deal with possible postpartum symptoms. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for the care he offered me. I moved since and can no longer go to him but I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to be his patient."

"I can't say enough about Dr. Steiner. He has been quite good to me. I did not have a problem opening up to him at all. He made me feel comfortable from the first appointment. When I talk to him or answer his questions, he looks me eye to eye and that is very comforting to me. I've only ever been to one other psychiatrist, but he didn't look at me at all when talking to him. It makes me believe that Dr. Steiner really cares and tries hard to help me."

"RUINED. MY. LIFE. He put me on this medication without telling me the possible side effects. I gained 50 pounds, me thinking this is probably just COVID weight finally complained to him about it, and he’s is like “oh yeah that’s probably the Abilify we can take you off of that.” Never replaced it, so I got so depressed I tried to kill myself and ended up in the hospital. Also from the weight gain I developed PCOS which caused me to gain 20 more pounds (essentially ruining my life). And now every time I talk to a mental health professional I ask them if Abilify makes you gain weight and they say “YES that is the biggest symptom.” I am a 21 year old girl and have terrible body image issues even though I was only 130 pounds. I now weigh 200 and my BMI is 29. I hate myself and I blame him."

"Dr Steiner is a very smart man. He picked up on an illness I had without barely speaking to me, and he was correct. I highly recommend him. My only complaint is he doesn’t seem very thorough, but ultimately he is in fact thorough. This aspect can be misleading at times."
