"I was referred here by my primary physician for dry eye treatment. When I called, the person I spoke to was very rude and dismissive and would not listen to my concerns or my medical history. I tried explaining that I needed to see an ophthalmologist specifically because I have seen multiple optometrists to treat my condition and was advised to see a different kind of doctor with more medical eye experience. I was then interrupted and put on hold with no warning. Overall, it was a terrible customer service experience, and as someone with a chronic medical condition that deals with lots of medical professionals, I am deeply upset by the lack of concern given to what I had to say about my own medical concerns and needs. While I understand different medical offices have different skill sets and expertise as stated in the office's reply below, this was not a matter of the medical associates not having knowledge over my specific condition. It was not mentioned at all that dry eye was not their expertise during my phone call. Instead, I was told over and over that optometrists and ophthalmologists at the office can treat dry eye in the same exact way so it didn't matter who I saw at the office even though I stated I did not want to see an optometrist and that I, the patient, could speak to my medical needs and history better than the referral's exact wording and brief amount of information. I will be seeking medical treatment elsewhere and do not recommend this office on customer service standards alone."

"One of the best Eye Doctors office I’ve been too. All the Dr’s there are very attentive and take into consideration your concerns. The optics dept is wonderful as well. I recently Replaced lenses in an old pair of glasses in addition to getting a new pair. I had Issues with the replacement lenses and they were able to figure out that the lab made the lenses wrong. They had them remade correctly and they were so much better when I got Them back. I couldn’t recommend a better place for your eye care needs then Perrysburg Eye Center. The staff is always helpful and very kind."
