"This urgent care is staffed only by a CNP. Came in with ear pain and her first question is do I need a note for work. Checked for strep throat, and when that came back negative, I was discharged. Fortunately, I had an appointment with my doctor the next week. So on top of a long wait and no effort to diagnose my problem I can't give a rating of 2 stars and I'm being generous. Interesting enough I drove across town because this urgent care had a high rating. I'm not sure how it got such a high rating as this is the worst urgent care I've ever been to."

"Thelma was rude and seemed like she hated her job very much. This makes it hard to want to visit ProMedica facilities as it seems like 9/10 of their employees hate their job. Robert was very understanding and listened to what was going on and gave helpful tips. He was sweet and seemed to actually care."

"Registration was wonderful! Nurse practitioner did a couple tests to rule out blood clot was not given any other tests to find issue. Doctor came in and referred me to get a Doppler but also did not think I had blood clot! Did no other tests to find issue and just told me to follow you with my regular doctor. A lot of wasted money to find out nothing. Explained back issues and never did any tests to determine pain and swelling. Hospital didn’t have anyone to do a vascular dopplar to even look to eliminate a blood clot. I’m sure I will get a bill for thousands of dollars for absolutely no relief or even care to find out what was going on. More and more disappointed in our health care in the area."

"All I can say to all the bad reviews on who was at reception when you came in, to the other staff being terrible, had to be there with a completely different staff then when we were. We were in & out quick, even with testing done. Everyone was nice from the time we checked in, to the time we left. I would have to think since this Urgent Care is open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day – they do rotate the staff & we were there on a good day. I am not a ProMedica fan by any means, but if I had to go back again, I would not hesitate to go to this location."

"I was in acute pain from a fall (broken arm), yet was treated dismissively by the receptionist who clearly wanted to be anywhere else but there at work. The other waiting people/patients were kinder/more considerate than she was. With the help of friends who came to my aid, I left after 30 minutes or so. The receptionist wasn’t around, but she may have been busy elsewhere. I left after waiting a few more minutes for her to return; told another patient my first name and asked her to let the receptionist know I left. I’ll use Mercy Health System’s free-standing ED again if needed before ever going to the ProMedica Urgent Care on Central Ave. Teach your people some customer relations skill—or simply common courtesy."
