"Idk why y’all are rating this school so poorly lol. It’s great. I was at the north Olmsted campus, and it was god awful.This campus is THE campus to express yourself at. This may be such an irrelevant and minor detail to many, but to me, this is what makes or breaks a school for me. I have trichotillomania/dermatillomania, and I NEED a hat so I don’t screw up my scalp. At the north Olmsted campus, i had to get permission from the principal at the time, and she gave me a whole Magna Carta list of rules, and I had to either wear my headphones or my hat . I couldn’t wear both at the same time. So it’s either I don’t rip my scalp apart or I don’t get a sensory migraine from my surroundings. But here You can wear ANY type of hat, wear headphones at the same time too, and wear whatever you want within reason as long as you don’t commit indecent exposure or wear clothes with vulgar, offensive, and obscene language!) Which coming from the older campus, that’s entirely reasonable to me. We can leave for lunch and go out (couldn’t do that at the north Olmsted one!) Not to mention out of all the pre existing and current AEA campuses, this one BY FAR is the one that supports queer students the most. LGBTQ things are everywhere, and this is a DEFINITE SAFE SPACE throughout the whole building, and not just with certain students and teachers. I love all my teachers here so much, especially Mavros and Thev and my queen Forsyth, the three most beautiful souls! I haven’t talked much with Raider, but he also seems like a nice dude."
