"Do not take your children to Dr.Spangler. He is dismissive to ANY parental concern. My son had a hernia for 3 months because when I brought up the concern of constipation he brushed me off. Now 1 year later my son is 2 and isn’t speaking yet, when I brought up a concern (on multiple occasions) that he may need a speech therapist I was told “not to worry he’ll talk when he’s ready”. When I continued to push the concern he told me I had to wait for a referral and I waited on him for 3 months longer (while checking in occasionally to see if there was any progress on the referral) and still to this day, no referral. I’ve switched pediatricians and my son is already starting speech therapy after only 2 weeks. My sister took her daughter to Spangler as well, at 5 months she was told she needed a helmet and if she didn’t get it by 7 months it could be permanent. 1 week before turning 7 months they still hadn’t even measured my nieces head for her helmet. She switched pediatricians as well and got her daughter the helmet within the month. Although now she has to wear the helmet for 6 months instead of 2 because she got it after 7 months. These are just a few of the serious instances. Dr Spangler is not attentive to the kids or the parents questions. If I could give him zero stars I most definitely would."
