"This was my first time ever having Thai food. Seen Amaya's post a picture of a bowl of food from here and had to try it. It was delicious. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back."

"I ordered the chicken pad Thai lunch. This plate came with 2 each of one appetizer. What!! Your choices were, crab ragoon, spring roll, dumplings (potstickers) prepared either steamed or fried, or fried tofu. My picture shows only one dumpling as you may have guessed one didn't make it all the way home. To top it off, a cute little side salad with some sort of dressing that was awesome and something I've never tasted. It offset the pad Thai nicely! This was all under 10.00 dollars with tip ( take-out). Great little place! Will drive again 35 miles one way to get."

"We stopped by on a chance on the way home from Detroit. We had been trying to go to a Thai restaurant in Detroit, but the parking was a nightmare so we continued southward and ended up in Monroe. Wow! What a great find! The waitress was very polite and seated us quickly. The restaurant wasn't too over-stimulating in their decor. We appreciated how clean it was. The prices were fair with their portions. We ordered our standard order that we always try with new Thai restaurants to compare them: chicken pad Thai, Tom yum soup, Panang chicken curry, and Thai fried rice. We didn't have to wait too long, maybe 5 minutes. The gentleman who served us our food seemed to be one of the owners. He was quiet and humble, but the smile from his eyes lit up the room. Just with what his eyes seemed to be communicating, dinner was going to be fabulous. The food did NOT disappoint. The Tom Yum soup was well flavored, balanced, and good spice heat that tickled the back of our palates. The Chicken Pad Thai was one of the best I've had in a very long time. I loved the ground peanuts, fresh bean sprouts, lime wedges, and cilantro that adorned the food. You know the pad Thai will be great when they use very fresh ingredients. I overstuffed myself with the pad Thai, it was that good! The Thai fried rice vegetables (onions) still had a little bite to them and were not soggy. This is fact that I appreciate. I like when I can identify what I am eating. My son ate most of it which shows me that it was well balanced with rice and flavor. He would have eaten it all, but he was too full. Last, but not least, the Panang curry was my trip to heaven! The spice was amazing. Well balanced, they had plenty of vegetables in it like broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers, all of which still had texture and bite. They were not mushy and falling apart like they can get at other restaurants. I would have finished it, but my stomach was full. Portion sizes were adequate, not too big or small. We are new to Michigan/Ohio area and this has been by far my favorite Thai restaurant. I will be coming back frequently when in the area. This seems to be family owned and run. I look forward to my next time here!"
