"We've been here a few times. The deviled eggs are fabulous and the hush puppies are my daughter's favorite but a number of other things are inconsistent or just meh. Definitely skip the scallops and rice. The were not seared well and the rice had more than a few uncooked grains. Not worth it"

The coffee was made hot and fresh. The Venice Cafe shares the space. The restaurant is eclectic with a 1940 mural on the walls, it is perfect for a college town. I like this restaurant with its southern fried food and atmosphere."
