"This has become my favorite place for BBQ, I have been eating at Old Carolina BBQ for years. The service is always 5 stars and the food matches. If I had one issues is the pulled pork is dry. Having opened many BBQ joints I know its a issue but holding the pulled pork in a light sauce would help. The place is large and welcoming plenty of space to eat and enjoy a conversation without it being too loud. Bathrooms are always clean and so is the dining room. They do a large part in togo and catering which is always on point also. They do not seem as pricey as some BBQ places and that is good also because good BBQ should not be expensive. Good job Old Carolina!"
"The young lady at the register helped an elderly lady in front of us at the register. She was very polite, respectful and helped the elderly woman with her confusing order. I totally believe more people serving others should do the same."
"We used Old Carolina to cater our wedding and they did a phenomenal job! All of the servers were very nice. The Bride had some food allergies that they went out of their way to accommodate and the food was great! We did not have to worry at all about the food for our wedding day and would recommend their catering service to anyone!"
"I would normally give them a 5 star review! I love their food, have had it many times!! However, this past time I went there, I ordered the pulled pork, garlic mash potatoes, and coleslaw, also comes with a biscuit. Everything was good love the garlic mash potatoes, but the pulled pork was not as good as usual, pretty disappointed, Not much shredded pork, sort of dry and had very hard pieces in it. My friend had the brisket with fries, and you get a lot of fries, that were good and hot, very fresh. But again, that was the first time I was disappointed in the pork! I love there food and have even bought there bbq sauce! My son had his reception catered by them, they did a wonderful job, the food was DELICIOUS! Maybe it was just an off day!! There is inside and outside seating. The employees are always friendly and polite! I will go back, like I said the food is always delicious, and one time of disappointment of the pork will not stop me from returning!!"
