"(Closed Sunday-Tuesday) Prepare for a long visit. Food is always good here. But if it would be anyone other than Mr Matsos I would not recommend this place. The man is elderly and is the cook, server and cashier. I believe his only employee washes dishes. We arrived about 6:15 on a Wednesday and there were only 2 other tables. Everything took a long time, to be seated, to have water and menus, to take our orders... The bread used to be hot and it was barely warm. After being there close to an hour and 15 minutes for sandwiches, we still didn't have the bill and only got it when my mom went into the kitchen and asked. Our waters were empty before the meal and never refilled. I saw other customers help themselves to a water pitcher. The poor man had To-Go orders and a couple tables and simply couldn't keep up. Why he doesn't have help, I don't know."

"If you are heading this way make sure you have plenty of time and not in a hurry. Matsos is very unique in that it is like a time capsule. Service is caterered towards those who are not in a hurry and want to enjoy their meal. We had a very lovely time. Owner is super friendly and tries to spend a few minutes with ever customer. In today's world were everything is rush rush it was pleasantly surprising to a have a relaxing meal."

"We ordered a pizza with pepperoni sausage and Greek olives. The pizza was fantastic and the crust was to die for. The atmosphere is lovely and I had a chance to speak to the owner for a while. Such a nice man and hard worker. Definitely will be ordering more food from Matzo's."

"As always, food was superb. The pre-meal garlic bread was outstanding. My friend has the gyro and I had the Christopher special. He has never been so he didn't know what to expect out of the experience. This is now his go-to restaurant when he's in town. Bare in mind that if you go, you WILL be waiting longer than most other restaurants you've been to. I think it's because the own(who's restaurant has been on in the same corner for over 40 years) makes everything himself. But it's well worth the wait. And he's a talker! Extremely personable, friendly and full of stories and life experiences. Lastly, prices are beyond reasonable. You get an insane amount of food for the prices."
