"Friday Fish Fry. You can get the two piece for 9.99 or the all you can eat for 12.99. The two piece dinner was more than enough for me as you get bread, fries, and your choice of slaw or hot sauce. Fish and fries were cooked properly, flakey, not dry. The slaw was a bit more watery than usual. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Main dining room was full. I'm writing this review 2 hours later and I still feel full, there was that muchh food on my plate. You can get beer too!"
"Honestly just punishing myself at this point by coming back to give them a 3rd (and final) chance. Somehow had to wait 20 minutes extra to get my carryout order. The place was dead so not sure why there was an extra wait. Got home 2 minutes away the restaurant and discover my food is all cold. And they forgot my hot rice. That was 1/4 of my entire order. Unacceptabe. Almost want to do a charge back with my bank at this point. Lady rolling silverware was nice and seemed to be the only person who was aware they were at work. Really disappointed overall, and for a third time in a row."
"Disappointing experience. Fried chicken was greasy, fries were soggy and not warm, "hot sauce" was running ketchup with some unknown solids in it and the mashed potatoes taste odd. Green beans were warmed canned beans and were awful. My wife summed it up best as bland hospital food. It has a nice, cafeteria look and feel, but our server was in a bad mood and it reflected on her serving us. Huge portions."
"I'm not a big fan of this chicken, but my family is. Staff is courteous and attentive, and the food is consistent. Other family members enjoyed the steak special & the mixed dinner, along with hot rice & fries. Personal preference but I'm not a fan of whatever oil is used in the fryer, gives a strange taste for me."
"The chicken is large and heavily breaded. If you enjoy a greasy fried chicken you will enjoy this! The fries are soggy, you may be able to ask for a crisper French fry, but I did not ask. Our group was large and the server was accommodating for such short notice! The decor was definitely a mom and pop vibe. The serving sizes were larger then I anticipated for the price! Most in the group have grown up eating this chicken and speak very highly of it. I would go back to try other Peet’s of the menu!"
