Nectar of the Tupelo Euclid

"Very swanky, yet comfortable atmosphere in an older building. We felt very welcome! Spoke to the owners, very nice people! Overall wonderful experience! I would go back again! I had such a hard time choosing a menu item because everything looked so good we especially liked the short rib stroganoff! It was very good and ample portions for what you pay! most higher end restaurants charge a lot for very small portions not this place at all! I did get the puff pastry lobster pot pie which was good but a little bit spicy for me with the Cayenne butter! Generous salads for the money, amazing Caesar dressing! I'm not a big drinker but they have very creative and well mixed, and thought out cocktails! The prime rib is also very very good as well! I think my favorite menu items were the desserts actually! The beignets were actually better than New Orleans!! Our server daylen was wonderful! He was attentive efficient and easy to speak with! I would definitely go back and would probably sit in the covered patio area with glass next time as the music in the bar room is just a little loud but still fun!"

"Ordered the Chicken and Waffles for brunch. First place I have been to that serves spicy chicken with the chicken and waffles, it was quite appetizing! Server was nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Will recommend Tupelo to others."

"I know I'm going against the grain with this review but...I didn't really enjoy my visit. #1: Nothing served at lunch can be served during dinner (burger etc.) That's fine. #2: The entree I wanted came with Polenta. I don't like Polenta, so I asked if I could sub for mashed potatoes. No subbing allowed. On anything. I was very disappointed in that. I ended up ordering a salad. It was a very large salad, considering it was on the starter menu. Everything else we ordered was good, just disappointed with having to order without subs. #3: The service was ok. They sat us in the bar area. Fine. You don't get the best attentive service in the bar area unless you're actually AT the bar. So we ran out of our drinks quickly. Didn't get more until our food came & noticed our empty glasses. There seemed to be several regulars at the bar, and the bartender/waitress seemed to have a good report with them, but we clearly weren't regulars and sparsely noticed. The atmosphere was ok. I know it's billed as upscale, but the decor is not that. However, it wasn't bad. It's a chill vibe. I think it's great that Euclid has this place. Much needed. I think I might be back. Not soon. I would like to see how the service would be away from the bar."

"Had dinner here on one of our random Thursday dates and we enjoyed ourselves. We felt very welcomed and the staff was super friendly. It was perfect outside for a patio dinner. We weren't too hungry and just ordered the Brussels app and Chop dinner. The Brussels were good just a bit small for an app but the Chop was amazing and highly recommended. The glaze and cook was perfect. Bonus!!! Meet a local patron that bought us a round too. The Lust on Lakeshore is summer fresh, crisp and a perfect outside cocktail. We'll be back and I'll probably have the Chop again."

"Brand new restaurant in Euclid and it's definitely more upscale than most of the places in the area. They have a really nice patio dining area. The whole restaurant is put together nicely and I like the bee theme even though I'm perplexed by it because they don't actually offer anything really honey related. We did take out and I actually wish we had dined in because I feel like the food would have been better. While it looked very pretty the Lobster pot pie & wild mushroom cups didn't taste the best and I think they would hold up better for dining in. I plan to give this place another shot and dine in next time. The staff is really friendly which is a huge bonus!"
