Italian Village Restaurant

"We stopped here recently for some Italian on a Friday night. There was live music and the singer was decent. The food was ok - a bit bland but nothing really bad to say about it overall. The service was decent but our server seemed very busy! It took a bit long for the food to come out but he did come and apologize and our soup and salad came out quickly! Overall not bad but also not the best. Pricing was very reasonable for the serving size!"

"It started out rough. We had 4 kids with us, they had kids menus but no crayons. The restaurant is owned by Marcs the grocery store... pretty sure they have access to crayons. Our server was a nice young lady. She was using a device to place the order as she was taking it. When our items came out they had ingredients that we asked to hold and they were missing an order. The very nice and respectful server showed us that she did type it in the way we asked so I'm assuming it was a back of the house issue. The food was to be expected and pretty good. I really have no reason to go back there. It's dark and outdated. The food didn't wow me and everything else was sub par. If you are passing by and dying for some pasta I would say it is okay to stop and eat there. I would not drive even a few minutes out of my way to go there though."

"We just came across this place today. I will say we waited a few minutes to even get acknowledged at the front door. Once we sat it was a little better but the only negative is that they are very understaffed. The phone rang nonstop so we listened to that the whole time (took forever for staff to answer) and the food took quite some time. The bread and salad came out immediately and both were SO good! The only time we saw the waitress was to drop off the food and check. It’s not their fault they are busy and short staffed so I won’t criticize those girls. They were moving nonstop. The food was good! The sauce was better than I was anticipating. We will definitely go back. The side salad was so good & very big. Loved it! Inky reason I didn’t give a 5 star was due to the extended wait for any type of service."

"I went there to get a dinner as I was in the area and wanted to try this place for a long time. The minute I walked in I was a bit shocked how outdated that place is, I have not been in the place like this forever and I eat out very often. There was no sign that says wait to be seated so I wasn't sure what to do and I just stood there as girls who worked there were just looking at me from behind the counter until waitress came and told me to give her a minute. I sat down and the server came and I asked what's good with chicken and she suggested Chicken carbonara and I took the offer. Salad and bread were good, the main dish not so much. There was barely any chicken, huge pieces of tomatoes and a ton of sauce which was good but once cooled down a bit- my pasta was drowning in oil( see pictures). So I would I go again? Absolutely not, as I could give a food a second chance but the interior is just terrible and made me feel like I am somewhere in 2000 at the most and not in Strongsville restaurant in 2023."

"Went for the first time and it seemed a little expensive for the quality. While it was mostly good tasting, the eggplant was a little disappointing. The baked ravioli were good but super expensive for what they were. The bread they give you at the start is really good however!"
