"Hot Dog Heaven is almost perfect! The food tastes amazing, the building got rebuilt and now there is a balcony to sit on, and it's just perfect! The only thing that went wrong with the place is when I tried to order one of the packs, but I accidentally ordered it separately from a pack, and they charged me more without telling me if I wanted the pack or not."

"It was so great coming back here for the first time in 15+ years. I loved that they re-built the location to feel like the old one, but with improved features. Girl taking our order was definitely new and in-training, but she had plenty of backup help and I’m always patient when you can tell it’s high school students trying their best. Food tasted exactly the same as I remember. There was plenty of seating and I didn’t feel rushed to finish our food. I used the restroom and it was nice and clean. I will continue to crave HDH and can’t wait to go back. My only recommendation (and this is a stretch) is that the restroom needs a purse hook."

"The food was good but not great. The main reason I didn't rate them higher was that every item on our order was in some way in error. Nothing horrible but it was just ice cream and snacks. Also, not nearly as wide a selection of dogs as I would have expected given the name."

"Hot dog heaven isn't trying to reinvent fast food. They provide the basic dogs, burgers, fries etc. with all the usual toppings. No more or less. The food isn't bad, just not mind blowing. What makes Hot Dog heaven stand out in a sense of nostalgia. The atmosphere is that of a burger joint 50 years ago. A quaint dining area with the local high school teams pictures on the walls, friendly faces greeting you and food that reminds you of younger days when we could be excited for simple things."

"Good casual restaurant, especially if you have kids. The prices aren’t horrible, but still a bit steep for hotdogs. None of it is very original. When we were there every single table was filthy, which is pretty off-putting. Condiments were empty. Wait was long for just 2 hotdogs and a fry. If you have a small child, be aware that the restrooms are one toilet per gender, so they are prone to creating a line. My toddler couldn’t wait for 4 other women to go, so we ended up using the men’s. May or may not return… just an “okay” experience."
