"I went to this ER by ambulance for severe stomach issues, believing this is a hospital and they would help me. They ran a few tests. I told them about my upset stomach, the constant diarrhea, and throwing up. Without any tests, they told me that I had diverticulitis. The very next day, I went to ProMedica ER, and was diagnosed with extremely low blood sugar or hypoglycemia, CDiff as well as possible gastroparesis. Spent four days inpatient at ProMedica Hospital. They ordered an upper and lower GI, test came back positive for gastritis, gastroparesis, colitis and really bad CDiff infection. They then sent me a referral to the Cleveland where I’m currently at getting treated. St. Vincent hospital ER in Toledo Ohio missed all of this. I could have had serious complications, or even died from the hyperglycemia alone they did not even do a sugar glucose check. I will never step foot in another Mercy hospital again. Do not trust this ER do not send your loved ones here"

"My husband spent his final few days in the Neuro ICU. A fantastic group of people. All of the Doctors and Nurses were exceptional, empathetic, helpful and compassionate. They made sure that my husband was comfortable and clean. Even though he was brain dead, they still took the utmost care of him. I will never forget their kindness to me and their sympathy during my grief. God Bless them."
