The Cracked Pot Coffee and Crepes

"I visited The Cracked Pot near downtown Middletown, Ohio today. What a hidden gem! This place has both savory and sweet crepes, also omelettes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, etc. My husband had the blueberry crepes and I had the Strawberry Delight crepes. We both ordered a side of bacon with cappuccinos. The cappuccinos were hot and very good, perfect amounts of foam, milk and espresso. The crepes were huge! Very delicious with a lot of fruit and real whipped cream. The only thing I might say was a negative was that the crepes were served cold/room temperature. But this is not enough of a "complaint" to warrant taking off a star. And, most likely, one could probably request heating. It was, nonetheless, delicious. The bacon was a good quality and quite tasty and nicely cooked. The people/staff were very friendly, thorough, and efficient. The ambiance was just what I was looking for: very much like a good, old-fashioned coffeeshop. This place will be a regular for me, and I hope The Cracked Pot will be here for a long time to come."

"I have not been this impressed with a restaurant in a very long time. First you are greeted with a smile from the staff. This place was bustling with people. All the staff were working together and smiling. Now the food. OMG!!!! My son got a crepe and smoothie and love it. My husband got the fun guy and loved it. He also had the Bloody Mary that has a BLT crepe on it. So delicious. I got the last supper an could only eat half. This amazing experience was topped off with a birthday surprise for my husband again we were blown away."

"First time here. Food was great. Very tasty. Coffee was great as well. Our food was hot and came out fast. Our waitress greeted us as soon as we walked thru the door. Nice friendly atmosphere. The inside looks crowded but there is plenty of seating. In the summer months there is plenty of seating outside both in the front porch as well as the back. Parking in the back is limited. There is plenty of on-street parking in front. Great food, great people, great place."
