"Went here for lunch at 12 on a Sunday - about a 25 minute wait from the time I got there. The space is pretty cramped, everyone standing at the front by the door trying to get seated. But the walls are really cool, looks like a local artist did the murals inside. I got the chocolate bread French toast which was really good and my mom liked the chicken Alfredo. Gave 4 stars because my fruit bowl had moldy blueberries"

"Quick Ratings: - Huevos Rancheros: A solid start to the day. - Signature Pancake: Fluffy perfection. - Chocolate French Toast: Sweet tooth's dream. - Biscuits and Gravy: Hearty and satisfying. Sunrise has got a real knack for dishing out comfort on a plate. Their breakfast spread hit the spot with its straight-up good eats. First up, the Huevos Rancheros. It's a no-fuss plate: a crisp-edged egg, a heap of savory black beans, and roast potatoes that crackle just right. Spoon on some zesty salsa, a blob of sour cream, and you've got a plate that packs a punch. Their Signature Pancake is a fluffy, crispy-edged wonder. It's big, it's buttery, and it does exactly what you hope a pancake will do – fill you up and make you happy without a lot of fuss. The Chocolate French Toast is for those who like breakfast with a side of dessert. It's rich, but not too heavy, and that powdered sugar on top? Just the right amount of sweet. And you can't skip the Biscuits and Gravy. It's a stick-to-your-ribs kind of dish, with soft biscuits drowning in thick, peppery gravy. It's down-home cooking done right. Each dish at Sunrise Café comes out like it's made by someone who gets why breakfast matters. It's the kind of place that'll have you planning your next visit before you've even left. Sunrise Café is doing breakfast right – simple, tasty, and just plain good."

"This spot is a MUST if you’re passing through Yellow Springs. Staff was cool and the food was delicious. Probably top 3 omelette I’ve ever had. They fit way more food in it because it was shaped like a taco on its side. Bison sausage too?? So awesome. Only thing I’d change is the capacity. You will be shoulder to shoulder with other folks waiting for a table since the restaurant is small and there’s less than 10 tables. Note: If you’re dining for 2 make sure to call ahead 30 minutes before you pull up. We went Saturday morning and were seated in 5 minutes."

"We adventured to Yellow Springs and chose Sunrise for brunch after reading the reviews. The wait was approximately 35 minutes. They were very busy and it didn’t let up the whole time we were there. Service was good, but we were never offered refills / more drinks until we had already finished eating. The food was fantastic and worth the wait."

"The food at this place is incredible! They do everything well and you can tell each dish is well thought out. Their chef is amazing. All the food is well balanced and wholesome tasting. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and care about their menu. I had the lavender honey salmon and it brought me back to life after a week of Fourth of July activities. My husband got the smokehouse beef burger and it was delicious. Atmosphere was a bit dark. But could be the vibe you’re going for if you’re going for a romantic date night setting. We just went for lunch but the taste of the food far outweighed it being a bit dark inside! Would recommend 10/10!!!"
