"First time eating here with my friend! We had the best service, no wait to sit. Our waiter, I forget his name but he was wearing a green hat and a purple tie dye shirt (His name started with a “C”) he was super friendly and personable and very attentive to our table! I absolutely loved these Bier cheese pretzels, it came with three but I already ate one by the time I took this picture! (I was so excited to try one!!) I will definitely be coming back to eat here!"

"I had the sausage platter and my wife had a grilled chicken kabob pita. Generous portion of the main course. The sides were small like the mashed potatoes were only a small rounded scoop. The hot German potato salad was in a small plastic cup, too sweet for our taste. Both sausages were tasty, the spicy and the brautwurst. We wished the cabbage on the pita was flavored. Sauerkraut was good. The draft beer lager from the Yellow springs brewery was excellent. I had two of those! A very cozy and tasty place to eat."

"Pretty cool spot in yellow springs! Good atmosphere indoors, seating at the bar, and they have outside seating on the patio too. Service was efficient and food came out quickly! The menu was German influenced and mostly bar type foods. I would say moderately priced. I had a nice glass of Pinot Grigio which the waitress said was very popular. However mine was not cold which was disappointing. I had a very yummy döner! The meat and pita were so good! The potato salad was different for me but not bad! It was warm and had apples in it too. Worth checking out if you are in the area!"

"I got the sauerkraut balls, amazing!! Pretzel with Bier cheese, best yet!! As main course, cod fish sandwich with German potato salad and the hubs got the barbecue glazed burger with fried. That bourbon glaze was sooo delicious. Definitely recommend if in Yellow Springs! This is a German restaurant."

"Delicious food, and awesome atmosphere! With plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating there is room for all! The pork belly bites were absolutely phenomenal, and then the sauerkraut balls were pretty good! But really just hard to follow up the pork belly bites. I'd highly recommend those on your visit. We then got the bratwurst and the Pfeffer burger, both which were delicious! The only qualm was that for a Wednesday at lunch we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, otherwise it was a 5 star experience"
