"I was brought here for a lunch with a friend and he was paying. This was my first time. The food was decent and the lemonade was borderline okay (needs to be way sweeter and more bitter.) The food is cafeteria style with you being servered after choosing what you you want to eat/drink on a tray. The wait staff just makes sure that you have refills of drinks and takes your trays away."
"We really like MCL. We don't visit often because it's a little on the pricey side for a cafeteria. I had the noon special for $12.29 which was good. Husband had the blue plate special for $14.95 and he liked it with the exception of his potatoes which were cold and butter wouldn't melt on them. He also had coconut cream pie which is exceptional. Drinks are a little high. The ladies who take care of your table are friendly, energetic and on the ball!!"
"Had a party in their banquet room with food catered for the party. Everyone seemed to really like the food and for a party you have to automatically pay for 25 people and it was a lot of food. All guest ate and then even took leftovers home. The waitress or server was amazing and she was very tentative to us the whole time."

"I grew up eating MCL. Today was terrible . I went to pick up to go. There was a white lady that ordered a kids meal for herself. I order regular meal while about to add a kids meal like the lady in front of me told me i have to 12 to order. Where i just watch her offer this white lady every damn choice. The carryout girl was so blatantly rude to me . never once did she welcome us like the white lady. She purposely took her time so she wouldn't have to wait on us. I couldn't even order all my food because she just kept saying is that all just a rude Btch. The mgt just tried to rush us out by saying you can just have what you ordered for free. I didnt need anything for free she said nothing to the weird racist lady that was terrible. I will never spend money there ever again. Not recommended for Black people"
