Waffle House

"We had a to go order. My husband went into this location and ordered. We knew it would be a little bit, but we did not expect sitting for over 30+ min and our order not even being called. There was one of two waitresses that asked about the to go order (wasn't even the one who took our order). No one responded/answered her. We left. This is not the first time we have had to wait 30+min for even just waffles, let alone anything else. This was our last straw with this location, unfortunately. We will not be back. To note, there were 2 waitresses and 1 Cook about 700 PM on a Saturday even. We did end up going to the next location just south an exit and didn't wait 3 min before our order was placed, called, started cooking, and paid for. In and out the door in 10 min."

"There’s a new manager here who has been wonderful!!! The store is looking a lot cleaner and service is improving a lot as well. The food of course is amazing! I love their biscuits and gravy! My kids love the chocolate chip cookies waffles"

"Very Disappointed. Waited 35min for 1 waffle and double hashbrown. Families came and went, to go orders came and went still then only did i get my order. Waffle was overcooked, and the waiter asked if that was too overcooked for my liking. I told him it looked kinda hard and overcooked but I have waited for 30min and I couldn't wait longer. See photo. ( I added butter and syrup). Long story below. Walked in to place a to order. As soon as I walked in, I was not greeted nor given any direction on where I can sit. That didnt bother me till i saw others getting the full treatment. I didn't want to take up any counter space so i sat in the waiting chairs. Looking around I can tell the place was at 80% capacity so i figured they were busy. I saw orders coming out, coffee being refilled, workers chatting it up with customers, but still no one took my order or even acknowledged me. 5min later, another family of 3 walk in and was greeted by the waitress and directed where to sit, the waiter immediately gave them menus and took their drink order. At this point i was concerned that i if didn't speak up and get my order in, my order would take longer. I waited by the register and no one acknowledged me again, a waitress passed by and made eye contact with me and I said "excuse me" and she walked right on by. Another waiter turned, looked at me and turned back around. So i called him again, "Sir, i would like to place a to-go order". At that point the smiles came out and I was able to place my order. I sat down, feeling accomplished. As i sat down, another ladie walked in and was greeted and asked how can we help you. She placed a to-go order also and it was a double hashbrown. Another 10min passed and the family of 3 received their order and was getting refills on drinks. The guy looked at me and said, we are working on your order now. I was settled. another 15min later, the family of 3 paid and was gone. The ladie with the to-go order of double hashbrowns was called, she paid and left. I stood up and asked and the guy said, "you wanted a pecan waffle right". I said yes and double hash. He then went made it and 5min later i stood up again. At this point we hit the 33min mark. I still kept my smile on my face and respectable composure. When the waiter pointed out my waffle was overcooked and that he can make another one, I was upset. The resturant had cleared out and was about 20% capacity. And i told him, it sucks to see many people come after me, even families, eat, pay and leave and I am still waiting on 1 waffle and hashbrowns. I told him I am fine with the overcooked waffel. The waiter said, "I understand man." Suffice to say it was worth leaving this review. I would not recommend this place for the service and the mediocre food."

"This location is always a great experience! The staff is friendly and connects with patrons like they were family. The waffles are perfection as always! It is a tiny location so finding seating when it’s busy is sometimes tricky, but the atmosphere is close knit and charming."

"You can tell the wait staff love their jobs. They are chipper, efficient, and super friendly. This place was packed to the gills and the eight servers didn't miss a beat. It was actually incredible to watch, organized chaos. Their food never disappoints, straight up comforting diner food. It warms your soul. Bathrooms were super clean!"
