"Don't let the strip mall fool you. This is a hidden gem. The lettuce wraps and the dynamite shrimp appetizer were fantastic starters. The bartender makes a tremendous old fashion as a beverage starter. Moving on to the main course I can highly recommend the truffle Gouda burger and the shrimp tacos. Not sure which was better. The flirtinin was also a great drink. Unfortunately we did not partake in the name sake drink of bourbon. They had quite a selection. To finish off I had the creme brulee cheesecake and salted Carmel waffle. Unbelievable! Service was fantastic. Overall a great dining experience. We will be back to try more of the menu"

"Go here! Don’t pass this place up. This place is a vibe! The food is a vibe! The drinks are a vibe! Plus, amazing service to back it up. Quite possibly some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. Great burger, tried my friends chicken and waffles and that was amazing as well. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area."

"What a hidden gem in Middletown Ohio. (Middleton to us Northern folk) Well maybe not so hidden. As we were leaving around noon, the place was filling up fast. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings as a starter are a must have. The Chicken and Waffles are too. The food is delicately crafted, full of flavor, and come on very amazing dinnerware/plating. The place is jamming with music(maybe just a little too loud for some), friendly staff, and has a good vibe. I have a feeling they will be out growing the size they are in now. Give them some love soon, you won't regret it."

"Overall: 9/10. Excellent food options make this hidden gem a hit! Offering superb food, drinks, and service to match, I highly recommend this place to anyone - especially those who are craving a great, inspiring burger and phenomenal French fries. 1) Atmosphere: 5/10 - very small diner feel with overflow seating in the space next door. They desperately need to redo the interior. 2) Food allergies: ?/10 - unsure about dietary restrictions. 3) Drinks: 8/10 - While they don't have an exhaustive list of beer and cocktails compared to other places, they do execute their list well. The whiskey selection is far superior to others around, that's for sure. Beer selection is acceptable and par for the course. 4) Appetizers: 9.3/10 - the appetizer list was on the small/medium sized and all were very good. The chips and various dips were really awesome. They rivaled Mexican restaurants! 5) Food: 9.6/10 - the selection is just right; not too little, not overwhelming like cheesecake factory. The menu items aren't "standard offerings" you see in every diner/american restaurant. These take it up a notch and offer you inspired dishes with some flaire. Offering something for everyone, Bourbon's knocks every item out of the park, every time. Known for their burgers, you still can't go wrong ordering their chicken dishes or salads. Do. Not. Skip. The. Fries. I can't make this more clear - order the fries. They're great. However, you really can't order a bad item here. 6) Dessert: delicious options that don't miss. Something for everyone, though I'm not one to normally order dessert at a restaurant. 7) Reservations: not required, but recommended. This place can book up on popular nights. 8) Cleanliness: 10/10 - floors, tables, plates, silverware, and employees are all neat and clean. 9) Service: 7/10 - not super attentive, but friendly, to the point and we didn't have to wait or hunt down our server. An above average experience but nothing stellar."

"Staff was very nice and service was quick. Made a reservation ahead of time so was seated immediately. My brother got the in--and-our burger and said it was good. I got the chicken and waffles, it was tasty- not the best I've ever had but not bad. Would say it's worth a try."
