"I have eaten at Combs many times. Their Ribs in the past have always been excellent and I do not mind spending 20 dollars when they are soft and fresh. I talked my Co-workers into ordering lunch from them last Thursday. I was beyond disappointed to spend 23 dollars on a 1/2 rack of ribs that were so dry and hard, I threw most of them away. They tasted like they had been left over and warmed up several times over. This quality was very unlike them and maybe it was just a one time thing. I hate to say it but now I'm leary at getting the ribs and spending that kind of money to just throw the food away. Their sides were delicious and fresh. I sure hope this was an isolated incident because we really enjoy their BBQ."
"We stopped here with some friends for lunch because a pizza place we originally planned to go to was closed. I’m so glad we did! The food was exceptional. I live in Cincinnati and have had lots of bbq there and this place beats them all. The pulled pork nachos are huge and loaded! Somehow the chips didn’t get soggy either! My son got a half rack of ribs and destroyed them. My 5 year old even ate them. Amazing food, huge portions, and a great price."
"This place is small but pack a punch in taste. OMG, love the beef brisket and baked beans, delicious. The place is a bit hidden but locals come in. Lunch our today was busy, but we got taken care promptly by friendly staff."
