"This was my first time at Mockingbird. I bought a coupon on Groupon. I was told when I got there that they no longer honor it because they are under new ownership. Im not sure whose fault it is..Groupon or the restaurant. The restaurant is still advertising on Groupon so I think they should have honored my coupon. I ordered a sandwich since I was already there. Very disappointed. Only 1 piece of ham that I paid $7.00. Im all about supporting local and small shops but I won't ever return here!!"
"Great! Delicious! Highly recommend! I was meandering through the historic Middletown area, which is beginning to bustle with various shops and eateries, hoping there would be a quaint local coffee shop I could do some work in. Mockingbird's was a great little discovery. It has a funky colorful aesthetic with welcoming home-town vibes, but most importantly - GREAT CUBAN SANDWICHES."
"Menu on Facebook and phone number appear to be from a past owner. None of the same items were on the menu in the cafe that were listed on Facebook. Grilled cheese sandwich was 2 pieces of cheese on a flattened white hot dog bun. Not melted or grilled at all. Prices were good and staff was friendly."
"It's definitely a cafe. The menu is reserved to one laminated card with few items made to allow for the kitchen to make some things well rather a lot of things crappy. They admit the can run out of ingredients as a normal part of their operation ... for that, I didn't eat here because they didn't have my choice. I understand the issues that can happen, but as I am in not a common local there by opportunity to earn my business has passed"
