"My 93 year old mother has been a faithful fuel oil customer and NEVER had an issue, until now. And WOW, what an issue. The day of the night that it is to be zero degrees her furnace stops working because the regularly scheduled fuel delivery did not happen. Worse is the fact that this company did not BOTHER to take the time to alert her. The family scrambled to get a provider and not only was there no heat for over 24 hours, but a new provider charged a same day delivery surcharge of $150-TWICE-because the initial delivery did not provide enough fuel for the gravity fed furnace. The homeowner should have been notified that auto fill was being suspended. Because this didn't happen, a 93 year old stroke survivor endured health threatening conditions and a significant outlay of funds from a fixed income source. Terrible customer service."
