"Venezuelan restaurant in Urbana Ohio. Arepas and the Yuca With Mojo were pretty good. The arepas are like these “cornbread pockets” stuffed with meat and cheese. The Yuca is like a more moist, less starchy potato. The Mojo sauce reminded me of a pesto a little bit. Breakfast burrito has really nice char lines on it. 4.6/5"
"First time to Urbana and decided to stop into Abuela’s. Ive never had Venezuelan food, and was delighted with what I had! Pork empanada, yuca fries, and the yellow rice with chicken. Wonderful flavor, good portion sizes. Excellent service!"
"This is a true hidden gem. Absolutely amazing across the board. The interior was designed with love; it's clean and cozy, and the server could not have been more of a sweetheart. But most importantly — the food. The black beef, essentially their take on a pot roast, is unreal. It's one of the best South American dishes I’ve ever had, for real. Don’t sleep on this spot. We came about an hour away from Dayton, and it was more than worth it."
