"I originally reached out to the Lindner Center of Hope because I remembered having a positive and helpful experience when I was inpatient in 2015. I wanted to schedule a time to come in with my dad and discuss different treatment options for help managing severe anxiety and overall stress (Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient treatment, and Rapid Access Services were all mentioned) and I was told I could call back and do so. When I called back I was told my only option was to try and schedule with a psychiatrist at their facility. After giving them the background information I received a call stating they did not have a psychiatrist that could see me. I then asked about other options, restating that I wanted to meet with a Medical Professional to discuss options so I could better understand what benefits the different programs had. I was told my only option was Rapid Access Services (a self-paying service that costs $600). I called again tonight because I have been having severe panic attacks that last for hours and have ran out of my anxiety medication (temporarily prescribed by my primary care physician while I look for a psychiatrist). My intention was to ask for any options I may not know of to get through until I can schedule a Rapid Access Services appointment, or to see if worst comes to worst I could go inpatient. Not only was I told I couldn’t go inpatient and I needed to go to the Emergency Room if anything worsened, but I was spoken to as if I was a drug addict (for reference, I take the lowest dose that can be prescribed of klonopin up to twice a day. It is the only anxiety medication that has ever worked for me, and it is only ever used as a temporary medication until I find the right daily medication to help with my anxiety) The girl I spoke to tonight completely disregarded my concern for my anxiety and severe panic attacks, and gave me a lecture of some sort on how that is a “dangerous medication” and stated that multiple times that if I start having “withdraw symptoms” I need to go to the ER (I have never had any symptoms when stopping this medication in the past, but maybe that is just me). Moral of the story is, I am very glad I found out that Lindner Center views people taking this type of anxiety medicine as drug addicts before I decided to pay the $600 for a Rapid Access Services Appointment."

"I recently went to the Lindner Center for their Rapid Assessment Program and itwas wonderful. I got in within 24 hours and had a great experience I was able to start treatment and was referred to the PHP ( partial hospitalization program) which was also an awesome experience. I learned so much and every staff member in both programs were professional, kind and compassionate. I am going to continue with other out patient services and truly thank everyone at the Lindner Center for their care. It has been truly life changing"

"I stayed 5 days on the inpatient wing and 28 days in Sibcy Residential. I truly believe that every staff member I worked with cared deeply about me and had an endless well of patience and compassion. The 7-10 day diagnostic testing gave me new insight into my diagnosis, and also ruled out issues that I had been concerned/curious about whether or not I had them(example: I worried I may have OCD or cognitive decline and the testing ruled out both of those, which gave me great peace of mind). The group therapy was both intensive, and helpful. I especially enjoyed the fully stocked art therapy supplies. If you have an opportunity to be treated here, I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"I recently spent time here on their North facility which is the inpatient ward. They have mostly a great staff, if you don't test them and speak up. Some staff can get quite nasty if they feel you're questioning their authority in any way. The others will treat you with the most respect and care in the world. Groups are great, food is great, and I can say I'm feeling grateful for all they did for me."
