"Sunday lunch. The salmon was over cooked and the vegetable medley was served cool in temperature. Clearly my server was working for the pleasure of being out of the house and not because she needed tips. I once lived in this area and remember when the name Hellriegel's was synonymous with excellent food and service in a charming atmosphere. Sadly, none of this seems true any longer."
"We had a group Xmas dinner. I only had salad, but most everyone had roast beef, which looked very good! Our waitress was excellent! It's a lovely way to start the holidays."
"Love the food specials and especially love the soups they have! We are crazy for the potato soup when they have it!! It’s SOOOOO GOOD! Had some tonight along with their chicken florentine. (Which was a special for the day) It was excellent! We did not dine in, we tend to just pick up but if you ever want some good food try it!"
"A unique old place....a throw back for sure and probably more appealing to an older crowd (us). Lots of interesting history, worth a trip for some comfort food. Want to try their prime rib next time. Take a ride and give it a try."
