"I can not believe that they took all the charm away from this precious, historical Ohio gem. Grew up going here. New management may be attempting to “clean up the place” but you don’t have to take its historical charms away to do so. Yet another period correct, historical bed and breakfast/inn ruined and modernized. Makes me sick!"

"He bartender, Sam.. great!! Old school environment with young heart! Drinks come quick food was tasty and the new owners come in and introduced themselves and asked how everyone’s experience was individually! You need a good bartender? Riders is the place"

"The only thing haunting about this place was the wait time. I decided to get some food here, and to begin there was no one to direct me to a table, so, I stood there waiting for about 5 minutes. The menu only had 10 things on it. I don’t know if it’s just because of the day and time but one sheet of paper was the menu. Then I spent about 30 minutes waiting on simple food which came out cold. My burger raw. I packed up all the dishes and waited another 30 minutes for my check. I understand if it was busy but it wasn’t. None of the staff was apologetic for the wait either. I was a fan of the leek soup but they don’t serve it anymore, and I assume that’s because of the new management. I hate to be harsh and I never write reviews but this might have been one of my worst experiences in a restaurant."

"Had a large party at Rider's and it was wonderful! The food, ambiance and staff were excellent. Additionally, it was a great value. Would highly recommend! Unfortunately, we didn't stay overnight, so we can not provide a review for the rooms."

"Riders inn it's very welcoming. The staff are very great, kind, friendly and the new fantastic owner make u feel like your part of the family. It's such a great experience n kind of a trip back in time I'm this piece of history with a building that was once used as a part of the underground railroad. I encourage a trip to this Inn n bar/restaurant."
