"I buy things at Painesville Elevator for my birds and my cats. They are the nicest people and are always willing to help you find what you need. It's one store that I can not afford to do without! The folks at Painesville Elevator,( which by the way isn't an elevator company) are some of the nicest people I have ever met. If you need say 3 big bags of Parakeet seed and they only have 2 they will sell you the two and order the rest for you which usually comes in a just a few days. I have gone in several times looking for Millet Spray(which I only buy from Painesville Elevator) in 5 pound bags becaus I have lots of little mouths to feed. If their order to restock hasn't come in yet they will sell you everything they have on the floor. They keep a box of Millet for customers to buy 3 for a dollar and they have sold me the entire box which just so happens to be 5 pounds worth of Millet(As long as no one has come in to buy a bunch from it) just so I can have the Millet I need for my little Parakeets. The Millet they have is by FM Brown's Company and of all the Millet I have purchased in the last 30 years, FM Browns is the best. It's not dried out and there are no long stems. Why pay for something that your bird isn't going to eat. I won't shop anywhere else for my Parakeet and Parrot seed and Millet Spray. As an added bonus, they are 2 streets away from me."

"They close at noon on Wednesdays. I went at 2pm on Wednesday thinking it would be normal business hours. My fault for not checking and assuming a business would be open, especially after all the pandemic related nonsense. I plan to try again someday and will hopefully be able to update this review."

"Love this place. Old fashioned. Has small pet care supplys. No chicken feed. Nice selection of bird feeding seeds and supplies. Great place to get straw. They always help get heavy items or straw out to your car. Kind of like stepping back in time. Love the mouse cats."
