There is always laughter, smiles and hugs at the center. The families treat me with respect and kindness. I get excited when the kids start to walk or say a new word. Toni makes you feel like you are apart of her family. Not alot of bosses out there care about their employee's. She takes time to get to know you and truly cares. "I’ve been a part of Almost Home for over a decade! Even though I teach in the public school system, I can’t leave Almost Home- I sub and help out in the summer. Toni, the owner, has amazing standards for staff and is sure that the center has degreed, trained, kind and enthusiastic teachers. As teachers we are given the freedom to help our children learn, grow, and play everyday that best works for them. We enjoy our jobs and each other. I count my coworkers as friends! I will also say that Almost Home has amazing opportunities for exploration with field trips and special visitors, fun themes, special family days and programs as well as the happiest staff and children! Even after a full day of teaching third grade, going in to help is always a pleasure- nothing makes you smile more than little voices calling your name and saying that they missed you! It’s so wonderful to watch these children thrive under the love and care they receive at Almost Home!"

"Where to start? ... Being apart of Almost Home for over 3 years now, there are so many great things that I could say about this daycare. My most important- I am 110% comfortable taking and leaving my little one there for the day! I know that he is safe and well taken care of. I can tell they focus not only on the kiddos enjoying their time away from family but on their education! Daily, I am amazed at what my little one has learned through the learning activities he does- thanks to his teachers for being so great and being on top of their lesson plans. The time and effort spent in making Almost Home the best daycare around does not go unnoticed! I am appreciative of every single teacher my little one has connected with as he continues to grow and move up and the director for making sure things run smoothly and the children are loved. All and all, my child and I are both extremely happy and I would give Almost Home more stars if I could!"

"This place was founded on love and the owner genuinely cares about these kids making great childhood memories in a safe, fun and educational environment. She is there everyday, maintains high standards in every aspect and is so involved, knows every kid's name and their family and treats them like her own. The teachers, lesson planning, the center and grounds, the field trips and activities; there are so many reasons why the families who come here, stay here, bring the rest of their family, and love it so much. This is the best daycare center anywhere and Findlay is a very lucky town to have Almost Home."
