"Great Place, Helpful Employees, Not a Claustrophobic Environment, Easy to find products, my only issue is something they can't control. I hate that when you go to self checkout it prints you off a 3 page receipt, literally, 3 different pieces of paper. 1 is your receipt, other is a coupon, and the last one is a thank you note. Bro, Corporate, easy on the tree abuse man. Okay?"

"Well just found out on my first return at a DOLLAR GENERAL STORE, with the receipt, if a item you purchased goes on sale or clearance any time after you buy it you only get the sale clearance price even with the receipt. So I received.30 for a item that was purchased a couple weeks ago for $3.00. Didn't realize this is what they gave me till returning home. CASHIER ran it as a exchange on my other items and didn't tell me so was surprised that was only getting. 30 or would have kept it. Manager was real nice when I called and offered to give the item back or even give a gift card for $2.70. No THANKS I would spend more in gas going to the store. I just won't buy anything at DG again that I might have to return. So buyers this holiday season be aware of return policy when shopping at Dollar general stores. Lesson learned."

"To the manager at Napoleon, Ohio Dollar General! You were a blessing today! I went to 4 different restaurants to try to pump in the bathroom but none had plugs in them. I walked into the store with my bag and asked to pump in the bathroom. (I only asked because I was bringing a backpack into a store, it looks weird) The guy at the register was having a bad day I guess and was upset with me for even talking to him, so I asked for a manager. He came back with a woman and he said “she says she has a pump and won’t tell me what for!” Very loudly I might add. I had already tried to tell him very discreetly that I needed to pump breastmilk. I explained to the woman we had been driving for 7 hours and still had over an hour to go and I needed to pump but couldn’t find another spot. (I was desperate at this point) This manager was like “absolutely, I’ll find you a spot!” So I’m expecting to walk to the bathroom... she puts me in the employee break room and closes it off. Asks me if I need anything and leaves me to it. I offered her to look in my bag to see I didn’t take anything but she wasn’t interested. I wish more people were as understanding as this woman! I’m just a mom trying my best."

"Very disappointed in this location. Stopped to pick up a gallon of milk. Sign said open until 9, we stopped at 8 56. Long enough to grab a gallon of milk. My husband went to the door, it was locked, and she hadn't locked it while we were there, it was already locked. No problem though, went to Walmart and got the milk a dollar cheaper and picked up other items too. Dollar General's loss, became Walmart's gain. Next time I'll just trust Dollar General is closed and go to Walmart. Very sad you run a business like that."

"The ladies that were working this Saturday night actually refused me service. I had just come from Wauseon DG where I noticed my $5 off coupon didn't come off. I had just watched this associate shrug off the lady in front of me (my aunt) when she asked why her digital coupons didn't come off in Wauseon DG. So I left. I went to Napoleon DG to see if there was a way to fix it. It was 9:45, the associate was sweeping the floor getting ready to close. I asked for the manager. Manager says without looking at my receipt that "she can't help me, they don't have anything to do w digital coupons." Me: "ok well some managers would fix it to keep a good customer. " The associate then insinuated that they would HAVE to break the rules to fix it and if anyone was doing that for me, it was wrong. Me: "what if I want to return it all?" Associate: "You will have to take it back to Wauseon where you got it." Me: "so you're refusing me service then?" Associate; "well she (the manager) shouldn't have to listen to you yell at her." I never yelled, I simply called them out for refusing me service bc it would be more work for them and they were ready to go home. I've contacted corporate.....they couldve rerung it up for me. There's no excuses really. That's not how you treat a disabled veteran. M. Stopka"
