"I have always loved Moms Diner since my grandma started taking me there as a kid. I moved out of town a year or so ago, and the restaurant has definitely changed. The atmosphere is amazing and very unique like no other, but they definitely have developed their flaws. First of all, they have changed some songs in the juke box due to other ones going out. The replacement music though, does not go with the theme of the restaurant, it was rock. So don’t waste your quarters on the juke box, you will pick a song and a different one will play and you can’t even hear the music when it is playing because they have turned the volume so low, you would only hear it if the restaurant is completely quiet. Second of all, they have raced their prices tremendously. It used to be 6 and some change for a quarter of a sub (small portion), to 8 dollars. You can go to subway and get a better and bigger sub for that price. They have replaced the homemade chips with a small bag of lays. It was just very disappointing coming back and being very excited for my childhood restaurant to get what was placed out. I’d recommend some changes."

The colorful setting, with neon signs and a jukebox, makes it look like a cute vintage diner. While the menu items, from salads and subs to pies and milkshakes, are always delicious, it's worth noting that the service can be inconsistent. On occasion, waitresses have handed us the check as soon as they serve our food, even though we typically intend on ordering dessert."

"Old school jukebox at the table…very cool! Food of course was great. Try a grinder and onion rings! Clean all the way around. Definitely worth the 10 minute Detour off the turnpike to grab a bite."
