"This week, I got invited to the first dinner service ever held by Leo Cafe. Over many generations, they have been a breakfast and lunch only spot. For an appetizer, I had the loaded sidewinders. Not quite a curly fry, not quite a potato wedge. Served smoking hot with a couple different types of cheese melted on top with bacon and fresh cut onion. Wonderful flavor and definitely worth ordering again. I couldn't decide between a couple entrees, but picked the blackened catfish with rice and onion rings. The seasoning on the fish had a bit of heat without being overwhelming. The "salsa" on top made a nice balance with the seasoning. You can tell everything was freshly prepared. Not too much to say about the rice. Cooked properly, but might have needed a little something. The onion rings were hot and the appropriate color of golden brown. I prefer this smooth style breading and the onions being small enough that you can poke a whole one in your mouth and not take a bite where you get all the onion and an empty piece of breading in your hand. They had cheesecake listed on the wall as a dessert option, but it was sold out by the time I finished my meal. Maybe next time. As for the building, everything was freshly painted since the newest owners took it over in January. You can definitely tell she genuinely cares about her guests. Every table got a visit while I was there. If you are an artist and have something to sell or display, it looks like they're trying to line up people to decorate their walls. Send her a message if this does something for you. They are I think doing Thursday Friday and Saturday only right now, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00. For being their first dinner service, food was coming out of the kitchen quickly and I didn't see anyone send anything back. I'll definitely get back there in the next few weeks. #onforkstoforks"

"Cute little café. Great service from Stephanie. Typical diner breakfast. Decent sausage gravy. I had a waffle topped with pecans that was delicious. I dined with my two young kids and we will definitely be back. Good breakfast spots are hard to come by these days, this fits the niche perfectly."

"The food at Leo Cafe came out fast and hot. Our server Barbie was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The waffles were made well. The chicken tenders were juicy and had just the right amount of breading. The bacon was a little tough and chewy. I would've preferred it cooked crispy. My wife's one wish was that the coffee was a better quality blend. Overall we with bellies full of good breakfast and our hearts full of joy. We did however wind up traveling down the road to Common Grounds in Grabill to grab my wife a better cup of coffee. If you're looking for a good, hot meal at an affordable price, then you should give Leo Cafe a visit."

"I give it two because it was clean and staff was nice. But the food...so disappointed. Ordered a Cesar Chicken Salad. I got a plate of iceberg lettuce and 4 pieces of frozen grilled chicken. The croutons were good tho. Please revise your salad."
