DJI Wynwood

"I came into the Miami area for a work trip without my DJI RSC2 multi camera control cable. I searched online and found this store. I called the store the 1st day (Sunday, Feb. 18, 2023) to see if they had the correct camera control cable for my DJI RSC2. According to the sales representative with whom I spoke with stated “yes”. I drove up to the store and purchase the control cable that was supposedly compatible for my RSC2 and purchased 1 DJI RS Briefcase Handle. I was told that none opened box will be fully refundable and that opened items will not be 100% refundable except they will take a certain percentage fee towards “restocking fee”. Then I leave. I understand it was my mistake for not double checking the purchased control cable but I just left thinking the DJI sales person was knowledgeable in what he had sold me. Come to find out when I was about to connect cable to my stabilizer it was not the correct cable. I head back to the store and explained to them I was sold and given the wrong cable. The gentleman later goes and gets me a DJI multi terminal usb control cable and refunds the “first time purchase” and refunds it to me as “in store credit” and then pay an additional $2 dollars. Without even explaining nor telling me that’s what he had done. Sales person just “assumed” I wanted a “in store credit”. I leave and go with the 2nd cable I was exchanged with. Unfortunately the 2nd cable was not the correct cable either and I was unable to use my stabilizer for a job I had during that timeframe (2 Days). Also the DJI paperwork that came with the purchased cable the compatibility chart was not in English but instead it must have been in Chinese. I ended looking online in the DJI website to see what cables were compatible and I called the store to inform them the 2nd cable that was given to me was not working nor making connection with my stabilizer and I explained to them that the paperwork for the DJI product was not in “ENGLISH” so unfortunately I was unable to understand nor read the chart. I told them I would be going to the store later that day (Monday, Feb. 19, 2024) Upon arrival the last time. There was another issue with being refunded the first purchase. They kept telling me that I was only getting store credit. Mind you I was not told nor explained that I was receiving store credit from the first time purchase. Then it became an issue getting my money refunded back until store manager was called out to floor. I just ended up requesting an entire refund for both items since I no longer wanted to deal with anything related to this store purchase. It’s a nice and neat store but I truly was displeased and disappointed with how my time was wasted and how business was conducted. This was my first time visiting this DJI store located in Wynwood Miami, FL. Maybe when I visit the area again and truly need a DJI product I might just give this store another try but until then I am truly displeased and disappointed."

"I highly recommend going somewhere else for any dji products This store charges a 30% restocking fee. Meaning if you try returning the product for what ever reason they will steal 30% from you. Not to mention the staff here isn’t friendly at all. When buying my dji mic The lady at the cash was complaining about her job the entire time about how tired he was and how she hates the music they play at the store. If you want to buy any Dji products I highly recommend you do so on Amazon or bestbuy"

"I had been considering getting a drone to get some cool shots for my planned YouTube channel and whilst in the Wynwood area of Miami decided to check out the DJI store on NW 2nd Ave. This is one of the coolest drone stores I have ever visited and my experience was about to be elevated to a whole other level. I was greeted by Harold who firstly offered us a cool refreshing cup of ice water, clearly observing our sweat drenched appearance. After returning with our drinks Harold proceeded to do something rare in sales he listened to my requirements and then proceeded to tell us all about the range of appropriate DJI drones. What was refreshing was there was no attempt to make the fast sale but he actually told us about a new drone soon to be released the ‘DJI Mini Pro 4’ following in the footsteps of the highly successful DJI Mini Pro 3 with the addition of video recording at up to 4K 100fps, as well as omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, yeah baby! With this news I decided that it would be worth waiting for the release of this new Mini Pro, but we were not done yet, Harold proceeded to give us a tour of the other available DJI products culminating in the DJI Osmo Mobile 6, Smartphone Stabiliser, which I was so impressed with that we purchased one to use with my iPhone 13 Pro. This was a absolutely first class shopping experience and we will definitely be back for our next drone purchase and look forward to meeting Harold and the DJI team again at their super cool Wynwood store. If you are in the South Florida area and are in the market for a drone or smartphone/camera stabilisers this is a must visit store for five-star attentive, professional service.
