"Brutal service! Inconsiderate to customers time! Tried to open new account, was treated like they could careless!! Keep away!!! I know I will!"

"September 18, 2023, Miss Linette who attends the entrance was very dismissive and impatient. I just wanted to open a new account with Bank of America and this very bad service forced me to choose another bank....I repeat Miss Linette to serve the person. You need patience and not judging people by physical appearance or language."

"Customer service is terrible. There's a $12 monthly fee for a checking account which is over double what other banks charge! I deposited a paycheck and they said $200 would be available the next day and the rest 5 days later, then they actually held all of it for two weeks while I struggled to pay for my life!!!! Customer service kept hanging up on me before I even got to tell them what the issue is. Listen to all these one star reviews because they're true....this is the WORST bank ever! I closed my account and use Wells Fargo now with no issues and no high fees! Edit: I finally got through to customer service and they told me my check was being held by the issuing bank. So I called the bank that issued my paycheck and they said there was absolutely no hold on their end and especially not for 14 days! So it's bank of America holding my paycheck. This is a disgrace!"

"I don't understand why the employees are so rude. They don't promote service with a smile and brush you off if you try to ask a question. There are no less than 5 employees the floor chatting with each other. Four customers in line and just one teller. No one says sorry for your wait, we will be with you shortly, just chatting amongst themselves. If I didn't deal with a business account that is out of my hands I would never step foot in here and give business to people so ungrateful for having a job."

"I’ve been a customer for over 30 years, am a platinum customer but that didn’t matter to Bank of America. I needed 2 letters of recommendation to be notarized. I tried calling first but no one answers the phone, I tried making an appointment through their website and it wouldn’t process so I went in person only to be greeted by a manager on the floor who was quick to turn me down. After much back and forth they would not notorize the letter of recommendation because it had to do with citizenship. They never gave me the reason nor seemed to care. I ended up having to pay UPS but they did it quickly and with a smile. Bank of America has gone downhill. Customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to matter."
