"If I could give more stars I would! This is soo much better than building a light saber, we didn’t make reservation but we stood in line for an hour and it was worth every second! The cast members who were controlling the line had droids out that they were showing off, once you get in it’s a whole new world you walk into. There’s so many cool parts to choose from and a very good variety of them too! Once chosen you get to build and bring your droids to life! A very cool experience. The gift shop had some cool accessories unfortunately they do sell out of the more popular ones pretty quickly. If you go and are a Star Wars fan you have to do this!!!"

"Man was I a kid in a candy store, we made a special trip to Hollywood Studios just for this. My son had an absolute blast picking out and building his R2 unit. It’s a little on the pricey side, especially if you get the personality chip and backpack. But to see my son smile ear to ear while inside the amazing store was absolutely worth and have ZERO regrets. The staff inside are nothing short of amazing and friendly. The Star Wars area as a whole was BREATHTAKING to say the least. Literally something to look at on every bend and turn inside here. We will definitely be back to build the lightsaber as well. The imagineers did a GREAT job designing and implementing the designs here!"

"Fun experience to complete your day at Galaxy’s Edge! Worth doing once! I was hesitant to do this for a few years because of the now $120 price tag plus the burden of carrying around the droid but… it was worth it to do once! Really fun experience of building your little robot child by selecting the type of unit, colored casings, and if desired, personality chip. Building was easy, with minimal manual assembly. Cast members were patient and helpful. The BB unit does navigate surprisingly well with the remote control, and does have limited interaction with features around Galaxy’s edge. It’s very cute at least. I do feel like the personality chip should come complimentary with the droid, as $14.99 for some additional sounds and “interactions” wasn’t really worth it. If you can, bring a macrame pot holder or get a droid holder off of Etsy to bring with you prior to the park, so you can avoid the $60 bag for sale and the cardboard box holder."

"6/13/23 & 6/15/23. Myself and both kids built droids. We all enjoyed building them. There are several color choices and types of droids that can be built. Staff is super friendly and helps you if needed. It isn't cheap but it is a once in a lifetime kind of thing. The droids do interact with each other. You can also give them different personalities. A must for hard-core Star Wars fans."

"Walk in and create your new best friend! Completely customizable. They are great for adults and kids. My husband and 2 teenage daughters made theirs and had fun making them as well as watching them play together as they interact with other droids! Great experience great value"
