"I was raised on 45th Street in WPB. My dad and one of his brothers were two of those members way back in th 1940's. We so much enjoyed The Flotila Club. We had our boat docked there, made so many friends, and loved the pool when it was placed. My favorite fun times was when Dad and Uncle Don went fishing Saturday mornings. I was the only kid who woke up before the light and Dad, Uncle Don and I would go to The Flotilla Club. Uncle Don prepared our boat, Dad would be wading with his fishing net to get our bait. Then we went "out" the inlet and fished. Those days I will NEVER forget. I did get to fish sometimes. My very best catch was a sailfish ... WOW! So glad to find The Flotilla Club on my phone today. Oops, forgot my name at this time. Brockway!!"
