About the Business

Military Sea Services Museum

The Military Sea Services Museum, located at 1402 Roseland Avenue in Sebring, Florida, is a must-visit tourist attraction for those interested in the history of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Our mission is to preserve and maintain the customs and traditions of these brave men and women who have served our country. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 4:00 p.m. Due to the impact of the Coronavirus, we have implemented safety measures such as limiting group sizes and conducting temperature checks for visitors. We also offer take-out options for our monthly Sunday dinners. The museum is free to enter, and we encourage visitors to share their experiences in the military sea services. For more information, please contact Museum President John Cecil at 863-840-3359 or email Curator@milseasvcmuseum.org. Come and honor the heroes who have protected our seas, shores, and air space.

"This place was amazing! It is free to visit donations are accepted. We had a private tour of the museum with our guide Gene And who is of course retired Navy. This place is just loaded with naval memorabilia most of which has been donated from retired naval families and locals. That's just amazing how much history is in this little gem of a museum located in Sebring Florida. We spent over an hour here with Gene and explaining to us everything that was here. There are so many artifacts to explore and they also have a library which you are welcome to hang out and read. I will definitely be back and be recommending to friends and family and I definitely want to bring my granddaughter here!"

"A wonderful gem of a museum. Staff is highly knowledgable of many details. The historical pieces are very unique and all carry many stories from the donor or donors family. I got to see pictures of my grand father I had never seen before. Plan to spend at least an hour to just get a cursory view of the depth of this collection. It'll take many visits to even start to delve into a fraction of what is presented."
