"A friend brought me and a friend here for prime rib dinners. The food was very good and not pricey. Drinks are priced extremely fairly. I would day that I'm still a bit on the young side; however, it would appear age is not what makes you a member. Everyone was very friendly and I knew all of two people and had a good time. I had been bitten by a brown recluse spider overnight and could not use my right hand - still really cannot; but it's getting better. People I didn't even know offered to cut up my food - that's super nice. I was able to inhale most of my food in big chunks, so it wasn't necessary. In a nutshell, I recommend this place. They are very friendly and look out for you. It was very enjoyable. If you have military forebears, join and get decent food and decent drinks at a more than reasonable price - and you can go to any other American Legion for free."
