"I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Granite Empire, starting with the Venice location at 1836 South Tamiami Trail. I purchased Luxury Vinyl Flooring from their salesman, Steven, on November 19, 2022, and the nightmare began shortly after installation in December. In March 2023, the flooring started lifting, and despite my immediate contact with Steven, the issue was not resolved. Even after providing requested information, multiple attempts to follow up in-store, and reaching out to the parent store at 1683 Cattlemen RD in Sarasota, my concerns were continuously brushed aside. After weeks of delays, inspections by Eugene( installer) and Roy (sales rep.) from MSI revealed that the installation was done improperly. Despite promises from the company that the problem would be fixed, it persisted. In June, I hired an attorney, and Granite Empire of Sarasota as well as the owner Iona Renita, callously ignored her requests as well. In October 2023, I personally visited the Sarasota store, where Sergei, a salesman/manager, acknowledged the flooring issue. However, since then, there has been absolute radio silence. I have duct tape on the floor in an attempt to mitigate the danger to my elderly, disabled parents due to Granite Empire's negligence. This entire experience has been a complete disaster, and the lack of communication, disregard for safety concerns, and failure to honor promises is inexcusable. I strongly advise against doing business with Granite Empire, as their actions have shown a complete lack of accountability and customer care."
