"Installed counter top unlevel. Didn't add the needed shims, glued it down, then blamed the tile people. Install people were in a rush and didn't care how it looked. Never let Duncan Stone do the installation."

"The old lady who works there was so difficult and unprofessional, I walked out. She refused to help me find stone for my kitchen and bath remodel, instead told me that everything I selected was too expensive or too rare of a piece. Mind you, I had not given her my budget or the scope of the project at all. All of the gentlemen working there were gracious, kind, and helpful to me. Maybe this is why she was so eager to dismiss me. At any rate, I’ll take my money to a company who will values their paying customers."

"Beautiful stone, however, the installers were HORRIBLE! They damaged the walls, gauged my trim up, and put a hole next to an outlet. When something was said, they told me, soory...you will have to take it up with duncan??? The granite was cut small on the edges, so they used caulk to fill in the gap. Won't be using them again!!"

"Zero pride, zero work ethic. Another company paid to not do their job, must be nice. If you have any movement or a pattern in your stone, then I would not recommend this company. We had 3 slabs to use for our kitchen, they somehow forgot to use one of them, slab #8 is still in their parking lot. Our kitchen is a hodge podge mess of random colors and patterns, (see photo). The owner agreed that some pieces needed to be replaced, because it looked so bad. He offered to band aid the project be chopping up the 3rd slab to try and make things look better, I said no. We are now saving up money again, to have a professional company come rip this mess out and install new counters properly. If you use this company, I would not give them a deposit, that way they can just take their horrible workmanship with them and you can hire a professional. We are out thousands of dollars and stuck with this mess until we can get it redone. Couple more things, the backsplash height was supposed to be 3", they can't even cut that correctly, it ranges from almost 2-7/8" to 3-1/8", (see photo). The sink is mounted crooked and held up with some pieces of plywood, not a sink install kit, (see photo). Then the lady in the office got mad at us, because she and no one else in the company could do their job correctly. I would feel horrible and be embarrassed if I did this kind of work at someone's house. If you care about what your kitchen looks like, then stay away from this company, and find a professional company that still takes pride in their work."
