"I can honestly say that this was the best way to experience Italy for the first time. I have never had a better trip. Nedra was wonderful and my girlfriends and I felt like we were seeing Italy with a best friend. Everything was taken care of for us each day...starting with a cappuccino and pastry each morning from a small cafe in Piegaro. She knew everyone and introduced us like we were her family. Once we got there , all our needs and wants were taken care of. I can't wait to go again and I would highly recommend using Village Vacations of Italy and Nedra. One of our highlights was the cooking class with Simona Fabrizia where we made tiramsu and fresh pasta. We enjoyed the fruits of our labor under the tuscan sun. It was unforgettable! We had a spa day, several wine tastings, shopping...all topped off by amazing food, laughs and giggles. I never imagined that I would be stomping grapes like Lucy and Ethel, but Nedra made it happen! Meeting the incredible artist, Valeria Tassi and watching how they create gorgeous pottery was incredible. I wanted it all!!"

"The vacation of a lifetime. I went on Nedra’s Girlfriends Tour with two of my friends. Having been in the airline industry for 40 years I had the opportunity for many vacations. Without a doubt, this was the best one I have ever taken. We were picked up by our private driver at the Rome airport and brought to our rooms in a castle. The town of Piegaro in Umbria is a quaint town. Cobblestone roads and we stayed in a villa that had breathtaking views of the countryside. The pace of the tour was just perfect. I never felt rushed. And the variety of experiences were so varied but fun. We visited a winery and stomped grapes, went to a spa with natural hot mineral pools San Giovanni followed by a massage and delicious lunch. A visit to Cortona and a beautiful sanctuary for the Virgin Mary. In Deruta we watched the artistry of hand painting pottery. A cooking class where we made fresh pasta, bruschetta and tiramisu with Chef Simona Fabrizio owner of Sagraincasa. Wine tasting at Monte Vibiano and their world famous wines and olive oils. And then the food!!!! Nedra was so gracious and fun. She knows her Umbria and the people in it. Truly a memory I will cherish for a lifetime."

"Nedra is a wonderful host for exploring villages in Umbria and Tuscany. Each day is the perfect blend of planned activities and ample time to explore as one chooses. My favorite was the day in Deruta where we learned how majolica is made and I went a bit crazy buying beautiful pieces. She also connected me with a charming apartment in L'Antica Vetreria in Piegaro. I knew from our first phone call that she would be an excellent guide and I was not disappointed.
