"I have been on 4 paddle Florida trips now and each one has been memorable in it's own way. Camping is always an adventure even with all the help that paddle Florida provides. The trips are well planned and the food was amazing on the Chipola river trip. Paddle Florida allows you to get to enjoy a river that may be very difficult to plan on your own."

"I have done three trips with Paddle florida and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. The staff are friendly, organized, and safety conscious. I particularly enjoy the evening presentations and entertainment. They are locally-based and very educational."

"My experience with Paddle Florida was excellent. Bill and Janice efficiently managed logistics, including hauling camping gear, shuttling kayaks and picking up hot food each day. Curry Hammock State Park was my favorite campsite. The paddling there was amazing. We saw two huge tarpon pass by in the mangroves. Paddle Florida arranges guest speakers or entertainment each night. That added a unique aspect that I have not experienced on other paddling trips. Finally, the volunteers added an unbelievable range of experience. Learning from them, I significantly expanded my paddling horizons. I will definitely join another Paddle Florida trip in the future."

"Just a note to say how much I have enjoyed my past trips with Paddle Florida. I have taken trips every year since the inaugural trip in 2008 on the Suwannee, and it would be hard for me to pick my favorite. They have all been well organized with great food and entertainment. The people who administer the trips, in particular Bill Richards, work hard to make these trips the best they can be. The trips have afforded me the opportunity to see parts of the state I would not ordinarily have visited. I hope that they will continue for many years to come."

"My husband & I have been on four trips with Paddle Florida. We love the people, the organization, the preparation, the fun. It is wonderful to have all arrangements, camping spots, maps, meals, water, shuttle, evening program, entertainment and firewood for the campfire taken care of. All we do is bring our gear, set up, take down and paddle. We feel very taken care of and safe going on these trips. Instructions are very clear. You can paddle at your pace with a buddy, or have the support of paddling with a volunteer. The trips can be adventurous due to weather causing waters to be high or low. That's all part of the fun. We have made lifelong friends. Bill (person in charge) has always been reliable, responsible, respectful, helpful and lots of fun. Keep in mind you are roughing it. Most camping spots are fields with a handwashing station and porta potty. There is always at least 1 midweek night at a campground with showers. I give this organization the highest of recommendations and will continue to do trips with them."
