PC and TV Repairs

"So I have never had to write review before for any kind of business but unfortunately this will my first and it is not a good one. When I first went to Ronaldo's shop things looked like a mess I don't know how he was able to keep track of which parts belong to whichever number of pcs he was working on at the time. That should've been red flag number one. after talking to him and dropping off my pc I explicitly told him to not install anything and to see if he could diagnose the issue. He then proceeded to call me a couple days later to tell me that he had fixed the issue and had installed windows. While I did tell him not to do that he did end up fixing the issue with the pc so I paid the $160($60 for labor $100 for windows) and thought nothing of it and was glad it was working. After bringing home the pc I came to find out that the pc itself was not functioning. I brought it back and told him it still was not working. He took it back for a couple more days during which every time I called him he seemed to forget which pc he was working on each time. After a couple more days he said that he believes the issue was the CPU and that we would have to purchase a new one. so we did do that and after putting in the new CPU we still didn't manage to make it work. So I eventually gave up with Ronaldo and went to try my luck somewhere else. And within a couple of hours at this new shop this guy was able to figure out the issue fix it and make it work with all the original parts. Ronaldo had told me it was various other parts that were causing the issue which was false. it was only a ram and bios issue that was cause. after finally getting it to work we also came to find out that Ronaldo had put in a windows version that still required a key to input which he refused to tell us over the phone. I never asked for my money back but after this situation I definitely feel swindled by Ronaldo at PC & TV Repair on colonial. I would Highly recommend taking any and all electronics you wish to fix to another shop as these guys will only cause you more headache, time, and money all for nothing."
